When there is little or no enthusiasm for our hobby, everything serves as an excuse to not use the transceivers.
I regularly see statements on various platforms and social networks that [1] the noise level in cities, regardless of their size, caused by different types of devices, is a reason to not practice our hobby.
Will it really be like that? Or is it just another excuse for feeling of disenchanted with your hobby or even not having found something that makes you want to be in the air?
Remember, [2]the propagation is another of the most common excuses, but it is easy to demystify, because whenever there is a contest, the propagation opens as if it were a miracle.
[3]Is it not allowed or I don´t have the conditions to have antennas in the place where I live. It's a common problem, but for any ham guy there is always a solution. If your passion for our hobby hasn't died yet, of course.
[1] How about looking for a noise canceller or qrm killer. There are low-cost and effective solutions to combat noise.
[2] If the passion for amateur radio has not died out, there is so much to do, experience, build and develop. There's more life than contests, SSB, CW or FT8.
[3]There are so many different solutions, but even the most radical of all, a 1.5m dish and a system to use the QO-100, won't you find a small space?
